Types of cerebral Palsy: -
Level
of Frequency: -
According to this, we
divide level of frequency in to three parts –
1. Mild
cerebral palsy: - In this condition, a
person has low level of disability in terms of body language & walking. The
child has fully freedom. But maybe he has some problem in learning.
2. Moderate
cerebral palsy: - In this condition, a person has high level of disability in
terms of body language & walking. The child developed with the help of
medical equipment & lives freely.
3 Severe
cerebral palsy: - In this condition, a person has fully disorder in terms of
body language and walking. These children are fully depending on other for
every activity.

Quantity
of affected body part: -
1 Monoplegia:
- In this condition, only one hand or one leg affected from cerebral palsy,
mostly we find one hand affected from this.
II. Hemiplegia:
- In this condition, a person affected one leg & hand, one side of the
body.
III. Dieplegia:
- In this condition, mostly we found both the leg are affected from this. Some time
we see the effect hand also.
IV. Paraplegia:
- In this condition, only both the leg are affected.
v. Quadriplegia:
- In this condition, both the leg & hand are affected from this. In other
word we can say that whole bodies are affected.

According to medical symptoms: -
A. Spasticity:
- Its mean the person has very tight muscular, lazy child and not looking good.
Muscular become tighter when we increase our walking speed, also when become
angry.
B. Athetosis:
- It means uncontrolled speed. When a child try to move any part of the body
start uncontrol activity. Children who are affected from this disease are just
look like a small baby, who has flexible body.
C. Ataxic:
- It means unbalance or unbalance speed. This type of children does not have a
balance. They feel problem when they sit or when they stand up. They have a low
level of muscular tighter.
D. Mixed:
- Spastic and athetosis, when we find both the diseases in a child that is
called mix cerebral palsy.
