Writing activity for Special Children
                                                           
Writing is a good way to represent any things or view. It is also a primary step. It is not necessary to understand writing after learning, but we also understand writing before learning.

If we understand both the thing together, it really a good things. It also helps us to understand the different meaning of sign board, writing different shape, different way to represent or communication system, but it is necessary to understand the fine motor skills of a child before writing. For example like how to sit, use of pen or coordination between eyes and hand.

  We have some step for writing like scrubbing, scribbling and tracing.

ü  Scrubbing: - It is a basic concept of writing. In it we include the basic activity of hand when a child moves it hands freely. For example – when child put liquid color down and try to moves hands in it or like other thing drop down in floor and use his hand.

ü  Scribbling: - In this step, we include pen, pencil or mom-color & write down with free hand. The main motive only to make a grip on these things and try to write down in any shape with having a positive approach.

ü  Tracing: - it is an exercise of writing skills. In it, we include writing activity to a meaning full representation. It is a chain system of different exercise, with the help of this, we avoid these thing like – mistake, low speed for writing or poor representation skills

Characteristic of Learning:-

Learning is a continuity process in the life of human being and this process is unique & important like his/her life. Environment coordination becomes possible with the learning like skill development, capacity & positive thinking etc.
                                                                           A person learns from his own experience like improvement in skills & coordination in behaviour, this person continues with coordination, socialization & self development etc. This process (learning) is not only given a normal positives but abnormal skills & behaviour also.

                    Learning process is become more important in mental retardation in which we give more attention on this process. Parents/teacher give more attention to this process:-

·         It s improve your behavior / change in behaviour.
·         Development process of IQ level.
·         It is an organization of experience.
·         It is an individual or socializes process.
·         Learning start from your environment.
·         Learning is a discovery.
·         Learning is a process of improvement in your skills.
·         It is a continue process.
·         Learning is adaptive.

Identification of Mental Retardation

  Identification of Mental Retardation:-
                                                                                 There are a lot of difference between MR & normal child because of learning, writing and remember anything, yet they did not have any physical disability But they are not able to make a condition with the other normal child. Some reason related with pre-natal, natal, post-natal. Here are some symptoms to identify a mental retardation child:-

Ø  They lost which they are reading or they remain for a little time
Ø  Low level of a concentration
Ø  They much depend on present example or what they see
Ø  Expect a suddenly result / price
Ø  Always fear to fail
Ø  Low level of self confidence
Ø  Low level of communication
Ø  Lack of coordination
Ø  Feel difficulty in their daily activity
Ø  Feel difficulty to understand, anything & to make view
Ø  Low level of learning and speed also
Ø  Not participate in daily class activity
Ø  Much depend on living example
Ø  Low level of self evaluation
