Causes
of Mental Retardation:-
Mental retardation can start at any time below 18y. It can be caused by disease/ injury and any abnormal activity. It can be starting in natal, pre-natal & post natal. There is lots of cause which affect this age group like lead poisoning, in-born error or genetic issues etc.
Pre-natal

Post natal
stage (reason for disability after birth)
ü If baby start weeping very late
after birth
ü If new born baby have a weight of below
2.5 kg
ü If epilepsy start in new born baby
ü Any abnormal part of body like head
very big or small and also in terms of leg & hand
ü Any types of infection like jaundice
fewer, mind fewer etc
ü Not use of injection according to
medical guideline
